We spent the weekend in the garden.
The garden was obviously laid out originally by someone in the know and there are lots of nice shrubs lurking. The problem is that it has been totally neglected for years and has got just a little bit overgrown.
The parent (heroes) came along to help and got stuck right in, and over the course of two days we got loads done. Saturday was entirely spent by Mum and I shifting a huge pile of stone from the border at the bottom of the garden to the woodland at the top. The photo really doesn't do it justice. Dad spent the day clearing the grassy bit at the back - we won't call it a lawn yet.
